  • River House Outdoor Center 301 North Adams Street Eugene, OR, 97402 United States (map)

WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and the City of Eugene Recreation team for a paddling cleanup effort from River House Outdoor Center (across from Valley River Center in the Whitaker District) to the Beltline bridge takeout. Bring your own boat or reserve a seat in one of our rafts! PFDs required.

WHEN & WHERE: Tuesday, August 9th, 8:30am - 1:00pm. Please meet at River House Outdoor Center at 301 N. Adams Street. Street parking only, please do not block or park across from River House driveway. We will help load rafts and gear and use City shuttle transportation to come back to our cars at end of day.

DETAILS: Please be on time! We will leave the River House immediately once boats and gear are unloaded at the put-in, following a safety briefing and clean up plan before heading out. Please dress for the weather and getting wet (no cotton!), bring water, sunscreen, and wear sturdy closed-toe shoes. Willamette Riverkeeper will provide PFDs, trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers. PFDs are required and must be worn at all times on the river to participate in this event. You should be proficient paddling in Class II moving water for this river segment if you are BYOB.
