WHAT: Corvallis River Guardians Trashy Thursday

WHEN: Thursday, January 20th, 2022 from 9:00am - 12:00pm

DETAILS: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and Corvallis Parks & Recreation for a cleanup focusing on the Avery Park Natural Area and south banks on the Marys River. We will be meeting in the parking area next to the Corvallis Parks & Recreation offices at 9AM, where will check out equipment and receive a safety briefing before breaking out into groups to tackle a few targeted areas in the vicinity. 

Please dress for the weather - bring snacks, sunscreen, and weather-appropriate layers, including a hat, neck gaiter and/or gloves for colder temperatures. This is a rain or shine event! Wear closed-toe hard soled shoes and bring water to stay hydrated. Trash bags, pickers, gloves, tarps and tools for trash removal will be supplied.
