WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper, Oregon State Parks, and the Corvallis Parks team as we help improve the riparian areas in the Marys and Willamette River confluence area for wildlife and safe recreation access.
WHEN: Thursday, February 17th, 9AM-12PM
WHERE: Please meet at CRYSTAL LAKE BOAT RAMP. From here we will break into two groups - BYOBoater's and a small group of volunteers will go with Oregon State Parks and Willamette Riverkeeper to clean upriver in Crystal Lake park, and islands in the Marys River confluence by jet boat. We will provide PFDs for this group. The second group will caravan with Corvallis Parks to the Skate Park near the Marys confluence, where clean up sites have already been posted and flagged for cleanup. PLEASE BE ON TIME so we can spend the majority of our time on task - many thanks!
DETAILS: Please bring a mask and wear weather appropriate clothing and closed-toe sturdy shoes. We'll supply grabbers, gloves, buckets and garbage bags.
