WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and Eugene REC to help clean YOUR river!

Bring your own boat or reserve a seat in ours and help clear trash from the islands and riverbanks in Eugene from Alton Baker to the Vallery River Center boat ramp (located just upstream of the VRC footbridge, behind Regal Cinemas, across the bike path). PFDs, masks and social distancing required! 

WHERE: BYOB PLEASE BE SELF SHUTTLED AHEAD OF TIME or meet in the Alton Baker parking at 8:30AM to unload and head to Valley River Center for a City of Eugene Covid-safe shuttle back to the put-in.  

For those reserving a seat in a raft, you may self shuttle, or come directly to Alton Baker boat ramp at 9AM. We can shuttle you back to your car after we are done, using a Covid-safe City of Eugene transport. 

WHEN: Tuesday - 7/20 (*8:30AM BYOB) 9AM-1PM

DETAILS: Please dress weather appropriately, bring water, face mask, hand sanitizer, and wear close-toed shoes for safety while working in clean up areas. We will provide trash bags, non-latex gloves, trash pickers and masks for those without their own. Volunteers are required to wear PFDs and masks (while on shore), and practice social distancing for the duration of the event and should be confident paddling in Class II moving water.
