WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper, Benton Soil & Water Conservation District, and the City of Corvallis Parks team for a paddling cleanup effort from Crystal Lake to Michael's Landing in Corvallis. This is a "bring your own boat" event, but we can save a seat in a raft for you if you don't have a boat. Limited space, please reserve your seat in registration, PFD included!
WHEN & WHERE: Friday, August 25, 9:00am - 1pm. Please be on time to meet up at Crystal Lake Boat Ramp. We will work together to shuttle vehicles, review a safety briefing, and head downstream from there.
DETAILS: Please dress for the weather and bring water, work gloves (if you have them) and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Willamette Riverkeeper will provide trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers. PFDs are required and must be worn at all times on the river to participate in this event. You should be proficient in paddling in Class I-II moving water.
