WHEN & WHERE: Tuesday, December 13th, 8:30am - 1:00pm Please meet at River House Outdoor Center at 301 N. Adams Street. Street parking only, please do not block or park across from River House driveway. We will help load rafts and gear and use City shuttle transportation to the Alton Baker boat ramp.
DETAILS: Please be on time! We will leave the River House immediately once boats and gear are loaded. We will help unload boats at the boat ramp, followed by a safety briefing and clean up plan before heading out. Please DRESS FOR COLD WEATHER and getting wet (no cotton!). Wool or neoprene socks, waterproof shoes/boots strongly recommended. Bring your favorite coffee mug, full water bottle, and layers. We will bring hand and foot warmers and have hot coffee at the put in. We will also provide trash bags, gloves, and trash grabbers and PFDs for those without. PFDs are required and must be worn at all times on the river to participate in this event. You should be proficient paddling in Class II moving water for this river segment if you are BYOB.
