WHAT: Join Willamette Riverkeeper and the City of Eugene REC team for our monthly River Guardians Trashy Tuesday as we give back to our mighty Willamette River. Bring your own boat or reserve a seat in ours and help clear trash from the islands and riverbanks in Eugene. 

WHERE: Please meet at River House Outdoor Center (301 N. Adams Street) at 8:30AM to rig and unload boats. We will shuttle you back to your car afterwards, using a City of Eugene bus transport. 

WHEN: Tuesday - 11/8 * 8:30AM-1PM

DETAILS: Please dress weather appropriately, bring water, face mask, hand sanitizer, and wear close-toed shoes for safety while working in clean up areas. We will provide trash bags, non-latex gloves, trash pickers and masks for those without their own. Volunteers are required to wear PFDs and masks (while on shore), and practice social distancing for the duration of the event and should be confident paddling in moving water.
